Paddling.net - "your #1 source for information on canoeing and kayaking." I found the Buyer's Guide and Product Reviews especially useful when I bought my first kayak.

Whitewater Warehouse - Retail boat and accessory shop in Dayton, also providing instruction & rentals, and sponsoring a variety of different paddling programs and events.

Brent Reitz Forward Stroke Clinic Video - "The forward stroke is the most used and least taught stroke in kayaking." This is the premiere video for becoming a faster kayaker. Available from Paddling.net, ARGear.com, and many other online retailers.
