About the race
The Topo Family Triathlon, a stop in the USA Triathlon Retro triathlon series, is a fun and challenging event that will have a distance for kids of all ages!! Athletes will swim, bike and run in this 3 event race that not only promotes fitness but also improves an athletes self confidence as they cross the finish line!
A great introduction to the sport of triathlon, the Topo Family Triathlon consists of a lake swim in the swim area of the East Fork State Park beach, followed by a safe bike and run park roads. The transition area will be at the beach and we strongly encourage friends and family to cheer racers throughout the race!
Distances
Junior Division (ages 7-10)
- 50 meter swim
- 3 mile bike
- .5 (half) mile run
Senior Division (ages 11-12)
- 100 meter swim
- 6 mile bike
- 1 mile run
Master Division (ages 13 and up, including adults)
- 300 meter swim
- 10 mile bike
- 2 mile run
Registration
Pre-Registration Fee: $25
Day of Registration Fee: $35
You can register online at no cost via Paypal by clicking the registration button above. The Topo Family Triathlon is a USAT Sanctioned event. A $10 fee will be charged at packet pickup if a racer is not a USA Triathlon Member. To become a USA Triathlon Member, click here.
Registration will include a race t-shirt, finisher medal, and champion-chip timing.
Directions to East Fork State Park
From Columbus -- Travel I-71 South approx. 80 miles to I275 South. Take I-275 another 15 miles to the Route 125 exit. Go East on Route 125 for approx. 10 miles to the East Fork State Park main entrance (Do not follow signs to the Campground). Turn Left on S. Bantam Road, turn left into the park and turn left again onto Park Road 2. Follow Park Road 2 to the Indian Mound picnic area. The picnic area is the first right after turning on the road to the beach
From Cincinnati -- Take I275 to the Route 125 exit. Go East on Route 125 for approx. 10 miles to the East Fork State Park main entrance (Do not follow signs to the Campground). Turn Left on S. Bantam Road, turn left into the park and turn left again onto Park Road 2. Follow Park Road 2 to the Indian Mound picnic area. The picnic area is the first fight after turning on the road to the beach.
