About the race

The 12 hour race will start on October 9th at 7:00am and the 6 hour race will start at 1:00pm.  This will allow all racers to attend the post race meal/awards ceremony.  Awards from our sponsors will be given to 1st through 3rd place in each race, and there will be a raffle and giveaway items at the party.

The 6 hour race is designed with the beginner racer in mind. The race will be balanced between all three disciplines for the full race experience. The technical level of this race is aimed at those who are new to adventure racing and new to navigation. Be aware, we will challenge you and you will have fun!

The 12 hour race is designed with the experienced racer in mind. The race will contain all three disciplines with an emphasis on paddling and orienteering. The technical level of this race is aimed at those who have experience in adventure racing and navigation.

Location

East Fork State Park -- One of Ohio's largest state parks, East Fork has over 2100 acres of water and 85 miles of trails. We are very excited about the choices East Fork gives us for the layout of these races.

The start location within the park will be announced at a later date once the course is finalized. There will be one centralized start/finish/transition area that will accommodate both races.

Additional Information

Each team will be provided pre-marked topograhical map(s). No outside maps are allowed during the race. Each team will be provided with one checkpoint (CP) punchcard and one set of race instructions. The maps, punchcard and race instructions are the responsibility of the team once they have been distributed.

No support crew will be needed.

Any additional information regarding the race will be posted on this website as the race date gets closer.
